Software Engineering Managers have not only the technical expertise to take on and provide technical leadership to major projects, but also manage a team of Engineers. You not only optimize your own code but make sure Engineers are able to optimize theirs. As a Software Engineering Manager you manage your project goals, contribute to product strategy and help develop your team. Operating with scale and speed, our exceptional software engineers are just getting started -- and as a manager, you guide the way. With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally. The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. ### US $207000 - $300000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits Learn more about benefits at Google. ## At a glance - Posted by the employer: Not stated - First seen by OpenNash: Oct 13, 2026 - Last checked: Oct 23, 2026 - Listed for: 10 days - Location: Kirkland, WA, USA[Apply on Alphabet’s careers site →](https://www.google.com/about/careers/applications/jobs/results/90465314432524998-engineering-manager-core-trust) ## More jobs at Alphabet ### [Customer Solutions Engineer, Compute, Google Cloud](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/e8808bb43d2f843bc2f3/) Kirkland, WA, USA ### [Staff Engineering Analyst, Trust and Safety RAI Testing, Scaled Testing](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/fb797d1276d1982da7d0/) Kirkland, WA, USA ### [Tech Lead, BigQuery Multimodal Strategy and Architecture](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/35272f69906c4aa55ac1/) Kirkland, WA, USA ### [Administrative Business Partner, Technical Infrastructure Finance](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/ba461953b06a6ba49e7e/) Kirkland, WA, USA ### [Business Data Scientist, Ads Marketing Analytics](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/d43f1543c71bc3d34304/) Kirkland, WA, USA ## Similar jobs at other companies ### [Engineer II – Core Systems Engineering](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/bae-systems/jobs/0428b591abe05fc9343c/) BAE Systems · Boulder, Colorado, United States ### [Systems Engineer Senior – Core Systems Engineering](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/bae-systems/jobs/77efd3a31ce2ff765b50/) BAE Systems · Broomfield, Colorado, United States ### [Software Engineering III -.Net Core, AI, React, (Multiple roles)](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/jpmorganchase/jobs/f251100ad2fcb94d918b/) JPMorganChase · New York, NY, United States ### [Wealth Management Solutions, Trust & Estates, Trust Administrator Associate](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/jpmorganchase/jobs/5fc777438049d924209c/) JPMorganChase · Newark, DE, United States ### [Trust Advisor II](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/huntington-bank/jobs/00a352e51cecd070ba57/) Huntington Bank · Columbus, OH OpenNash lists jobs from employers’ own careers sites and does not handle applications.
