Our products need to handle information at massive scale, and extend well beyond web search. We're looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design and mobile; the list goes on and is growing every day. As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward. The Health and Home organization is dedicated to creating intelligent, context-aware home environments and empowering users to live longer, healthier lives. The Infrastructure team enables the seamless development and operation of these experiences. Our core focus is on building scalable serving and offline infrastructure, coherent internal developer platforms, easy-to-use Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), and secure data services. As both product areas rapidly accelerate their Artificial Intelligence (AI) usage, our team provides the critical technical infrastructure required to power the next generation of Health and Home innovation. ## At a glance - Posted by the employer: Not stated - First seen by OpenNash: Oct 30, 2026 - Last checked: Oct 30, 2026 - Listed for: Under a day - Location: London, UK[Apply on Alphabet’s careers site →](https://www.google.com/about/careers/applications/jobs/results/141998843263623878-staff-software-engineer-home-infrastructure) ## Hiring at Alphabet - Open jobs: 3,591 - New in the last 7 days: After two weekly collections - Tracked since: Aug 20, 2026 [All Alphabet jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/) · [Weekly hiring report](/reports/hiring/) ## More jobs at Alphabet ### [AI/ML Staff Software Engineer, AI Data](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/912a776fb9724fa92e26/) London, UK ### [Developer Relations Engineer, Android and Play, Games](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/5f525d145476e69b6aa0/) London, UK ### [Senior Embedded Software Engineer, Pixel Phone Security](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/7fd7750006e6334bb3bb/) London, UK ### [Senior GPU Performance Software Engineer, AI/ML](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/2f2a612c570cf6e7e4f7/) London, UK ### [Senior Software Engineer, TorchTPU](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/fc2b9d2caa4ca148510a/) London, UK ## Similar jobs at other companies ### [Staff Engineer Software](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/infineon-technologies/jobs/f4c84670e282e4b5d748/) Infineon Technologies · Bangalore ### [Staff Software Engineer](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/ebay/jobs/bd05b9973557bfd5e1bc/) eBay · Kleinmachnow, Germany ### [Staff Software Test Engineer/Software Test Lead](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/thermo-fisher-scientific/jobs/457bdc55eab7538b5b89/) Thermo Fisher Scientific · Singapore ### [Staff Software Engineer – Host & Secure Compute Software - Cork, Ireland](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/qualcomm/jobs/d5d830fb764fadb851b4/) Qualcomm · Cork, Ireland ### [Senior Staff Software Engineer/Architect - Runtime Engineer](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/qualcomm/jobs/34ac340671dd639c9c70/) Qualcomm · Cork, Ireland OpenNash lists jobs from employers’ own careers sites and does not handle applications.
