That thinking is at the core of how we approach testing at Google. Unlike roles with similar names at the other companies, Test Engineers at Google aren't manual testers -- you write scripts to automate testing and create tools so developers can test their own code. As a Test Engineer, you navigate Google's massive codebase, identify weak spots and constantly design better and creative ways to break software and identify potential problems. You'll have a huge impact on the quality of Google's growing suite of products and services. As a part of the team, you will play a key role in delivering Pixel phones with exceptional Software/Hardware integrated quality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in multiple sites internationally, with a scope of End-to-End power and thermal testing. You will strive for quality and effective end-to-end automation testing as the team's scope is system testing across Pixel platforms with focus on power performance, power up and down the stack from apps, Android OS, multiple SW and subsystems features, modem and other connectivity modules that power the hardware. The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world. ## At a glance - Posted by the employer: Not stated - First seen by OpenNash: Oct 23, 2026 - Last checked: Oct 30, 2026 - Listed for: 7 days - Location: New Taipei, Banqiao District, New Taipei City, Taiwan[Apply on Alphabet’s careers site →](https://www.google.com/about/careers/applications/jobs/results/121019533535126214-test-engineer-wifi-test-lead) ## Hiring at Alphabet - Open jobs: 3,591 - New in the last 7 days: After two weekly collections - Tracked since: Aug 20, 2026 [All Alphabet jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/) · [Weekly hiring report](/reports/hiring/) ## More jobs at Alphabet ### [Battery Engineering Program Manager, Google Home and Health](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/c1832d39e62de2d7a343/) New Taipei, Banqiao District, New Taipei City, Taiwan ### [Engineering Project Specialist, General Hardware Development](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/c4f979223ac500b1b10d/) New Taipei, Banqiao District, New Taipei City, Taiwan ### [Hardware Electrical Engineer, Pixel Watch](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/e07d29106badc23f3635/) New Taipei, Banqiao District, New Taipei City, Taiwan ### [Hardware System Engineering Program Manager, Trackers and Home](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/784fd7e31ffda259ba8b/) New Taipei, Banqiao District, New Taipei City, Taiwan ### [Hardware Systems Integration Engineer, Pixel Phone](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/c1503bf80055b45039c1/) New Taipei, Banqiao District, New Taipei City, Taiwan ## Similar jobs at other companies ### [Test Engineer – HSIO ATE Test Development & Characterization, Engineer to Senior Engineer](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/qualcomm/jobs/cf40c94f18d6c1f73b5f/) Qualcomm · Hsinchu City, Taiwan ### [VodafoneThree - Specialist Test & Test Assurance Engineer](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/vodafone/jobs/3f238cfcda417f786190/) Vodafone · Reading, United Kingdom ### [Staff Software Test Engineer/Software Test Lead](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/thermo-fisher-scientific/jobs/457bdc55eab7538b5b89/) Thermo Fisher Scientific · Singapore ### [Winter Co-op - Integration and Test Engineer - Test & Trials](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/lockheed-martin/jobs/aef539818be0087a5a3a/) Lockheed Martin · Dartmouth, CAN ### [Winter Co-op - Integration and Test Engineer - Software Test](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/lockheed-martin/jobs/77e17ddb1486685fedab/) Lockheed Martin · Dartmouth, CAN OpenNash lists jobs from employers’ own careers sites and does not handle applications.
