In Developer Relations, we get excited to collaborate and connect with the communities that love technology as much as we do. Part community manager and part developer advocate, Developer Relations Engineers collaborate with developers at conferences and online, and advocate for developers interests internally at Google. Not afraid to be hands-on, you write sample code and client libraries as well as participate in developer forums and support queues to troubleshoot and debug coding problems developers encounter. Internally, you work with product engineering teams to improve our products by conveying feedback from developers, reviewing API designs and testing new features. With your technical expertise, you drive strategy around fostering a community of developers who work with Google technologies. An ardent advocate for these developers, you represent their voice internally to our Product Managers and serve as their Google support in application development and technology implementation. As a Developer Relations Engineer on the Android and Google Play Games team, you will sit at the intersection of Google's gaming platforms and the world's leading mobile, PC, and console game studios. You will combine game engine and client-side systems engineering with developer advocacy to help studios build, optimize, and launch high-performance games across Android phones, tablets, foldables, and Google Play Games on PC. In this role, you will dive into production game codebases, profile CPU/GPU and memory bottlenecks, build sample code and AI-powered developer tools, and collaborate directly with Android and Google Play Product and Engineering teams to shape the future of multiplatform gaming. ## At a glance - Posted by the employer: Not stated - First seen by OpenNash: Oct 23, 2026 - Last checked: Oct 23, 2026 - Listed for: Under a day - Location: London, UK[Apply on Alphabet’s careers site →](https://www.google.com/about/careers/applications/jobs/results/113522891458257606-developer-relations-engineer-android-and-play-games) ## More jobs at Alphabet ### [Firmware Engineer, Modem/Telephony Protocol and AI Automation](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/befa0e673a2c00cd146a/) London, UK ### [Senior Embedded Software Engineer, Pixel Phone Security](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/7fd7750006e6334bb3bb/) London, UK ### [Senior GPU Performance Software Engineer, AI/ML](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/2f2a612c570cf6e7e4f7/) London, UK ### [Senior Software Engineer, TorchTPU](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/fc2b9d2caa4ca148510a/) London, UK ### [Software Engineer III, Mobile iOS, Health and Fitness](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/156a54b216948f7df787/) London, UK ## Similar jobs at other companies ### [Software Engineer III - Mobile (Android/iOS) Developer](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/jpmorganchase/jobs/c300e70bc1d7044828f9/) JPMorganChase · Bengaluru, Karnataka, India ### [Android Developer](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/citigroup/jobs/9748058f3c97c8fba6b4/) Citigroup ### [Android Developer - Senior](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/ntt/jobs/eb26d12c77d0fa6e7543/) NTT · Lima, Peru ### [Senior Android Developer](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/hitachi/jobs/9e02eea9d8aa38148188/) Hitachi · Oradea, BH, Romania ### [Android Mobile Developer](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/deutsche-post/jobs/d4fed0c228fd641d30c3/) Deutsche Post · Chennai, Tamil Nādu, India OpenNash lists jobs from employers’ own careers sites and does not handle applications.
