About the job Google isn't just a software company. The Hardware Operations team is responsible for monitoring the state-of-the-art physical infrastructure behind Google's powerful search technology. As an Operations Technician, you'll install, configure, test, troubleshoot and maintain hardware (like servers and its components) and server software (like Google's Linux cluster). You'll also take on the configuration of more complex components such as networks, routers, hubs, bridges, switches and networking protocols. You'll participate in or lead small project teams on larger installations and develop project contingency plans. A typical day involves manual movement and installation of racks, and while it can sometimes be physically demanding, you are excited to work with infrastructure that is at the cutting-edge of computer technology. The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are an upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. ### US $138000 - $200000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits Learn more about benefits at Google. ## At a glance - Posted by the employer: Not stated - First seen by OpenNash: Oct 13, 2026 - Last checked: Oct 23, 2026 - Listed for: 10 days - Location: Haskell, TX, USA[Apply on Alphabet’s careers site →](https://www.google.com/about/careers/applications/jobs/results/106211641644720838-data-center-server-ops-manager) ## More jobs at Alphabet ### [Data Center Facilities Technician](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/66ff331556b5961f5645/) Haskell, TX, USA ### [Data Center Technician](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/e4708e34806760396288/) Haskell, TX, USA ### [Data Center Technician (Night Shift)](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/7ccf2b3edc5acef1d67c/) Haskell, TX, USA ### [Data Center Technician, First Shift](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/d69ca1ba6f6bc5960ae3/) Haskell, TX, USA ## Similar jobs at other companies ### [Data Center Chief Engineer, Data Center Eng Ops](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/amazon/jobs/507edafcc3ce72dfb5cf/) Amazon · US, PA, Fairless Hills ### [Data Center Operations Manager - Nights, Data Center Ops (DCO)](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/amazon/jobs/40eaa6d9e3beffbf95e6/) Amazon · US, OH, Jeffersonville ### [Wait Staff - Server - Chauncey Conference Center](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/aramark/jobs/ef4730fa3bb4c77c3b31/) Aramark · Princeton, NJ, US ### [Wait Staff - Server - Tacoma Convention Center](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/aramark/jobs/99f19ceebe2306bdf64c/) Aramark · Tacoma, WA, US ### [Electrical Engineer, Data Center - Design Engineering and Construction - Ops Eng](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/meta-platforms/jobs/8e8840df6607d2c790d6/) Meta Platforms · Menlo Park, California, US OpenNash lists jobs from employers’ own careers sites and does not handle applications.
