Transitioning away from conventional, on-site, purpose-built civil construction, our mission is to industrialize data center delivery through mass-assembled, standardized modules and off-site manufacturing. By shifting labor-intensive assembly, systems integration, and quality testing upstream into controlled factory environments, we enable rapid "square wave" capacity delivery—bringing gigawatt-scale AI compute, liquid cooling, power distribution, and network fabric into productive service with unprecedented velocity upon site arrival. Operating across AI Systems & Infrastructure (AI2), Google Data Centers (GDC), Systems & Manufacturing (ISM), and Google Global Infrastructure (GGI), our team defines the modular technical product and serves as the accountable business owner for industrializing and landing modular capacity globally. As the Director of Strategy & Business Operations, you will serve as the chief operating strategist, business architect, and executive integrator for Google’s Modular Manufacturing & Integration organization. In this founding leadership role, you will be the first hire dedicated to strategy and business operations, initially operating with high personal leverage and subsequently recruiting and leading a specialized Strategy & BizOps team as the organization scales. You will bridge the gap between Google's multi-year technical vision and pragmatic cross-organizational execution. You will hold executive business ownership of modular unit economics, capital velocity, and product cost targets—partnering closely with Corp Strategy and Finance while steering the business narrative. The AI and Infrastructure team is redefining what’s possible. We empower Google customers with breakthrough capabilities and insights by delivering AI and Infrastructure at unparalleled scale, efficiency, reliability and velocity. Our customers include Googlers, Google Cloud customers, and billions of Google users worldwide. We're the driving force behind Google's groundbreaking innovations, empowering the development of our cutting-edge AI models, delivering unparalleled computing power to global services, and providing the essential platforms that enable developers to build the future. From software to hardware our teams are shaping the future of world-leading hyperscale computing, with key teams working on the development of our TPUs, Vertex AI for Google Cloud, Google Global Networking, Data Center operations, systems research, and much more. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. ### US $262000 - $364000 (USD) + 30% bonus target + equity + benefits Learn more about benefits at Google. ## At a glance - Posted by the employer: Not stated - First seen by OpenNash: Oct 13, 2026 - Last checked: Oct 13, 2026 - Listed for: Under a day - Location: Sunnyvale, CA, USA +1 more[Apply on Alphabet’s careers site →](https://www.google.com/about/careers/applications/jobs/results/125668891467621062-director-strategy-and-business-operations-modular-infrastructure-global-data-centers) ## More jobs at Alphabet ### [Director Principal Technical Program Manager, Delivery Enablement and Field Integration, Global Data Centers](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/fa67cb1cc4cd4ddd2515/) Sunnyvale, CA, USA +1 more ### [Program Manager, Data Center Services Labor Engagement](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/c6bae8d14974705c7f8c/) Sunnyvale, CA, USA +1 more ### [Senior Program Manager, Data Center PhysICS and OT Health](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/f47589684d2e94048c7a/) Sunnyvale, CA, USA +1 more ### [Customer Engineer I, AI Infrastructure, Google Cloud](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/cd4063ef73efae2aac58/) Sunnyvale, CA, USA +1 more ### [Field Solutions Architect IV, AI Infrastructure, Google Cloud](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alphabet/jobs/dbe9b1758d77764802e0/) Sunnyvale, CA, USA +1 more ## Similar jobs at other companies ### [Director Business Strategy](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/microsoft/jobs/6c7fac1e81bee4095b54/) Microsoft · United States, Washington, Redmond ### [Senior Director of Business Strategy](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/microsoft/jobs/5dbf550df958d68338b4/) Microsoft · United States, Multiple Locations ### [Director, Home Strategy and Operations](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/davita/jobs/c25227794e0d44ebf55f/) DaVita · Denver, CO ### [Austin Business Center Operations Director](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/bae-systems/jobs/a97d174dc5d2c49a2af2/) BAE Systems · Austin, Texas, United States ### [Business Operations Director](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/lockheed-martin/jobs/43fd11ebb1dd1e21dedb/) Lockheed Martin · Huntsville, AL, Littleton, CO, Highlands Ranch OpenNash lists jobs from employers’ own careers sites and does not handle applications.
