## Job description

info_outline About the job As a Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer based in Taiwan, you will be the on-the-ground manufacturing process quality owner for opto-mechanical modules like Light Engine Assembly (LEA) and Display System Assembly (DSA). You will drive real-time In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), statistical process monitoring, yield protection, and Outgoing Quality Assurance (OQA) at manufacturing partner facilities.

You will collaborate with factory operations, test engineering, and supplier development teams to enforce stringent guardbanding, lead fast-response factory excursion containment, qualify production lines, and ensure high quality shipment. For decades, the computing revolution has reshaped our world driven by breakthroughs in compute, connectivity, mobile, and now, AI. Google's XR team is at the forefront of the next major leap – the convergence of AI and XR.

This is more than just new devices – it's about reimagining how we interact with the world around us. We're building a future where lightweight XR devices like smart glasses and headsets pair with helpful AI to augment human intelligence, offering personalized, conversational, and contextually aware experiences.
