Experience managing subscription platforms, billing/commerce integrations, or consumer lifecycle growth programs within hardware/IoT ecosystems. Experience managing multi-layered platform programs spanning hardware, operating systems, mobile app surfaces, and cloud APIs. Strong understanding of smart home standards and ecosystem protocols (e.g., matter, thread, wi-fi, cast). Outstanding executive presence, stakeholder management, and ability to navigate technical trade-offs with executive leadership. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams. The Technical Program Manager (TPgM) team in BLR drives the end-to-end execution, product quality, and technical roadmap for our core vertical pillars Media, Energy, and Wifi as well as expanding into Subscriptions (Subs) and Growth initiatives that maximize customer adoption, engagement, and long-term ecosystem value globally. The Google Home team focuses on hardware, software and services offerings for the home, ranging from thermostats to smart displays.
