Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions). ### Preferred qualifications 12 years of experience in product design or UX. 5 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization. Experience designing for video editing and mobile products. Experience designing for consumer product experiences across complex projects. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, constantly evolving and collaborative environment. About the job At Google, we "Focus on the user and all else will follow." You will join our multi-disciplinary UX team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management, to leverage user insights and create industry-leading products. As a Visual Designer, you will rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution. You will collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use. As the Visual Design Lead for YouTube Shorts and Creation, you’ll be responsible for creating scalable and beautiful design systems across YouTube Shorts, for both viewers and creators. This will include developing user-centered visual strategies and scalable frameworks that empower the team to transform how users discover, create, and express themselves through the intersection of short-form video and generative AI.
