## Job description

### Minimum qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 7 years of experience in environment, health and safety (EHS).

### Preferred qualifications

EHS related licenses, or certifications (Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Safety Professional, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, or similar). Experience managing campus operations with a focus on compliance, research labs, permitting, employee safety, and emergency management. Experience working in a cross functional team environment in close partnership with facility management teams, security, and business leadership.

Proven ability to manage complex, concurrent projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment; strong analytical and technical skills including the use of AI tools. About the job From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive incidents and crises, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process.

You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop exceptional programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.
