As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward. As a key member of a small and versatile team, you design, test, deploy and maintain software solutions.

Android is the most popular computing platform in the world with 2.5B+ users, approximately 4 billion apps across 2M developers.In the Mobile Threat Analysis Platform team (MTAP), our mission is to keep Android app users safe from mobile malware and abuse. As a software engineer in the team, you will work on building systems and infrastructure to protect Android users from security and privacy threats.
- Design and build automated static program analysis frameworks at Google scale
- Design and build secure and helpful code exploration based reverse engineering tools
- Research and propose new ideas to detect trending malware and abusive apps using static analysis
