Experience in design, construction, and commissioning of mechanical cooling plants, fire suppression systems, fuel oil systems, domestic water systems, and sanitary sewer systems in mission critical facility design and construction environment. Knowledge of mechanical engineering and design principles with specific expertise in the areas of design for medium-scale production, structural beams/elements, and international building codes. Understanding of data center physical infrastructure, including high-voltage PDU distribution, liquid cooling manifolds, structured optical fibre cabling. Along with a team of great minds, you take on complex topics like how we use power or how to run state-of-the-art, environmentally-friendly facilities. You're a visionary who optimizes for efficiencies and never stops seeking improvements -- even small changes that can make a huge impact. You generate ideas, communicate recommendations to senior-level executives and drive implementation alongside facilities technicians. With your technical expertise, you ensure compliance with codes and standards, develop infrastructure improvements and serve as an expert in your specialty (e.g., cooling, electrical). As a Staff Data Center Engineer on the Emergent AI infrastructure team, you will build the next generation of on-premises AI infrastructure to empower frontier model and AI solution builders for AI around the world. You will manage the physical execution, site readiness, hardware deployment, and operational of high-density AI accelerators.
