As Google's products and services scale the globe, the Strategic Negotiation team works behind the scenes to secure infrastructure for Google's future -- everything from underwater cables to physical data center space. As a Strategic Negotiator, you combine your deep market knowledge of a given sector with tech industry savvy to negotiate cost-effective solutions to support Google's infrastructure growth. You'll work with specific project teams on negotiating deals, managing vendor and partner relationships and presenting deal recommendations to our Tech leadership. Your successful negotiations have the potential to save Google millions of dollars in operating costs and impact every part of the business. The Energy amd Power team secures low-cost, clean, and reliable power for Google’s global footprint. Focused on Oklahoma and the U.S. Central region, this role will design energy regulatory, utility, and market engagement strategies to support scalable data center growth and meet 24/7 carbon-free energy goals. As an Energy Market Development Strategic Negotiator lead for Oklahoma, you will combine deep knowledge of Oklahoma electricity markets, OCC regulatory processes, and SPP grid dynamics with technology industry savvy to ensure power supply for our operations. You will lead energy regulatory advocacy before the OCC, negotiate rate designs and supply agreements with Oklahoma utilities, partner with regional stakeholders, and drive energy regulatory and policy strategy.
