[Apply on Alcon’s careers site →](https://alcon.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/careers_alcon/job/Seoul-Republic-of-Korea/Sr-Associate--Accounts-Receivable_R-2026-50359) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Alcon](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/alcon/) / Sr. Associate, Accounts Receivable ## Job description Alcon are one of Korea ‘Top Employer’s’ and are the market leader in eye care globally, helping people see better through advanced surgical and vision care products and if you want to help make a difference then please join us! ### Major Accountabilities Accounts Receivable and Credit Management - Manage accounts receivable risk through cash collection, account analysis, dispute resolution, and bad debt management. - Process credit approvals and regularly review customer credit limits, exposure, payment performance, and financial condition. - Manage collection activities for overdue accounts, including external collection and legal follow-up where applicable. - Manage complex and high-value customer accounts and provide reporting on outstanding balances, collection status, and credit exposure. - Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer payments, credit memos, and dispute resolution. ### Business Partnership and Service Delivery - Partner with customers, Commercial Operations, and relevant teams to support effective accounts receivable management and issue resolution. - Coordinate with local, regional, global, and outsourced teams to ensure seamless service delivery. - Support AR Associates and relevant teams through knowledge sharing and operational guidance. - Drive process improvements and act as a system SME and Super User for accounts receivable processes. Accounting, Reporting and Compliance - Perform month-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analysis, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items. - Ensure accurate accounting and appropriate documentation of financial transactions. - Support internal and external audits, including documentation, inquiries, and follow-up actions. - Support accounting information required for corporate income tax adjustments and filings. - Ensure compliance with Alcon accounting and financial control policies, applicable regulations, and SOX requirements. ### Qualification - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A professional accounting or finance qualification is preferred. - Proficiency in Korean and business-level English. - 3–5 years of relevant finance/accounting experience. - Strong knowledge of AR, credit management, collections, and account reconciliation. - Good understanding of month-end closing and accounting principles. - SAP knowledge and audit/tax support experience are preferred. - Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills. ### ATTENTION Current Alcon Employee/Contingent Worker If you are currently an active employee/contingent worker at Alcon, please click the appropriate link below to apply on the Internal Career site.
