In this role, you will be responsible for the design and optimal accommodation of space products and telecom satellites, ensuring efficient use of space and compliance with all technical requirements. ### Job Responsibilities - Lead the design and accommodation studies for various space products and telecom satellites, considering structural, thermal, electrical, and operational constraints. - Develop and optimize layout solutions for satellite platforms and payloads, including equipment placement, harness routing, and antenna integration. - Perform detailed analyses to validate design choices, manufacturability (MCI, tolerancing) and ensure performance against specifications. - Collaborate closely with various engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical, thermal, electrical, RF) to ensure a holistic and integrated design approach. - Define and manage interfaces & kits between different satellite subsystems and components. - Prepare technical documentation, including design descriptions, accommodation reports, and interface control documents. - Participate in design reviews and technical meetings, presenting design solutions and addressing feedback. - Contribute to the identification and implementation of innovative design methodologies and tools. - Ensure compliance with project schedules, budget, and quality standards. - Follow Design Office processes. - Drive subcontracted Work Packages. ### Job Qualifications - Master's degree or equivalent in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience > 5 years in the design and accommodation of space products or telecom satellites. - Strong understanding of satellite architecture and subsystems. - Proficiency in 3DEXPERIENCE. - Knowledge of space environment constraints (e.g., thermal, radiation, vibration). - Experience with configuration management. - Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset. - Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment. - Fluent in English; knowledge of French is a plus. - Strong communication and presentation skills. - Knowledge of DDMS context.
