This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in applying data science methodologies to real-world aerospace challenges, contributing to advanced projects that shape the future of aviation. Ideally, this is a 6 months internship and it should start in January 2027 ### Job Responsibilities As a Data Science Intern, you will be involved in various aspects of our data science initiatives, including but not limited to: - Assisting in the collection, cleaning, and pre-processing of large datasets from various sources. - Applying statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to extract actionable insights from data. - Developing and implementing predictive models to solve complex business problems. - Visualizing data and communicating findings effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Collaborating with experienced data scientists and data engineers on ongoing projects. - Researching and evaluating new data science tools, techniques, and methodologies. - Documenting processes, methodologies, and results for future reference. ### Job Qualifications To be successful in this internship, candidates should possess the following qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. - Strong foundational understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning & Deep learning algorithms. - Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in data science (e.g., Python, R). - Familiarity with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). - Basic understanding of SQL for data querying and retrieval. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly. - A keen interest in the aerospace industry and a desire to learn and contribute to cutting-edge projects. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
