We are currently recruiting a Principal Engineer - Flood Modeling with experience in flood modelling and flood risk assessments, to join our busy and expanding experienced team. The team provides assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of projects. Our clients work for private and public sectors and include long term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors. Our group has an established track record of successfully delivering water designs for many years, throughout UK&I, US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand among others. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation and Water projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural team for Enterprise Capabilities. Responsibilities of this role include: ### Technical Expert - Lead the estimation of flood flows using established methodologies in the Flood Estimations Handbook. Develop and check hydraulic models (using packages such as Flood Modeller, TUFLOW, HEC-RAS and InfoWorks ICM) to assist the design of flood alleviation schemes, flood risk assessments, river restoration projects or the creation of flood maps. ### Deliver - Produce and review high-quality technical reports documenting model build and uncertainties in the model build process.
