### Job Description

AECOM is currently seeking an experienced CEI Lead Senior Inspector to join our growing team and support a variety of transportation infrastructure projects located in the Tampa Fl, area. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful work that helps shape the region’s infrastructure while working alongside a collaborative and professional team.
- Performing highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, marking, and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests
- Coordinating and managing the lower level inspectors
- Performing work under the general supervision of the Project Administrator
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Responsible for setting own project deadlines
- Provides on the job training to new employees
- Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties
- Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records
- Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning
- Tracks quality assurance progress
- Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers
- Under minimal direction, relies on extensive experience and independent judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Responsible for setting own project deadlines
- Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma plus 8 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education
- U.S. Citizenship is required, due to the nature of the work
- Valid US Driver’s License required to regularly drive AECOM vehicles to project sites. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review Preferred Requirements:
- Four (4) years of CEI experience in roadway or bridge construction
- CTQP Final Estimates Level I
- CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I
- CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II (Bridges)
- CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
- CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level II
- CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
- CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level II
- CTQP Pile Driving Inspection
- CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection
- FDOT Intermediate MOT
- IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I
- Nuclear Radiation Safety
- Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors *Relevant certifications are essential for ongoing advancement and enhanced opportunities for assignments *

Occasional overnight work and/or assignments outside of employee’s primary location may be required Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position Relocation is not available for this position

The range for this position is $37 to $48.
