Join us. ### Job Description Job responsibilities: - Supports moderately complex project(s), working under general supervision. - Prepares various financial reports and provides analysis and recommendations based on findings. - Requires a proven ability to apply professional concepts in a productive, consistent manner. Maintains records according to generally accepted accounting practices. - Performs audits and generates special financial reports. - Providing project accounting support across moderately complex projects. - Preparing accurate and timely financial reports, analyses and forecasts. - Reviewing financial results and providing clear recommendations based on identified trends and findings. - Partnering with project managers and operational stakeholders to support effective financial and commercial decision-making. - Maintaining complete and accurate financial records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and internal requirements. - Monitoring project financial performance and identifying potential risks, issues and opportunities. - Performing financial audits and reviews to support compliance, accuracy and effective financial control. - Preparing ad hoc and specialist financial reports to meet business requirements. - Applying professional accounting principles and concepts in a consistent, practical and effective manner. - Identifying and delivering process improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency and service quality. - Collaborating extensively with operational teams and colleagues across an international, matrixed organisation. ### Specific Skills Required + 4-5 years experience of project accounting desirable, preferably in a multinational - Demonstrable experience operating in a complex, fast paced, international business environment. - Fluent in English + another language - Strong analytical & problem solving skills essential - Ability to manage details but also understand the “big picture”. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Identifies and executes initiatives and continuous improvements. - Extensive operations interface and collaboration - Business/Accounting/Engineering Bachelors Degree. ### Additional Information At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously. _To support this commitment, all newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment._ ### About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
