Together We Advance your career! ### JOB DETAILS Location: Cambridge, UK Onsite: This role requires the student to work full time onsite throughout the duration of the intern term. ### Start date July 1 to September 24 2027 WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Do you want to help improve experiences of groundbreaking AMD products? If so, AMD Hardware team is the right place for you. We are seeking a highly motivated Hardware Engineering intern/co-op and in this role: You will collaborate with Engineers and be responsible for some of AMD's discrete and embedded hardware products We will train you to build applications for external and internal use as well as large scale systems that improve the efficiency of AMD Hardware organization WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR: You are currently enrolled in a UK based University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field If you have knowledge / experience with any of the following technical skills (or related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we strongly encourage you to apply Experience/Knowledge of Digital and/or analog Logic Design and Optimization Scripting languages such as C/C++, TCL, Perl, Python, Java, Ruby Computer architecture, CPU & GPU architecture. Verilog, VHDL ASIC design and verification. Hardware automation, validation and test Analog and mixed-signal IC design fundamentals Exposure to RF knowledge and high-speed circuit concepts (impedance matching, clock jitter/phase noise) from electives or dissertation projects and basic knowledge of data converter theory Note: By submitting your application, you are indicating your interest in AMD intern positions.
