Follow @abbvie on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X and YouTube. ### Job Description This is our MD Fill - A1 Shift - 6am-6:30pm Sunday/Monday/Tuesday & every other Wednesday This position is an entry level maintenance position. This role will serve as a primary resource on preventive and demand maintenance activities within their current skill set while supporting Senior technicians with more advanced tasks. ### Responsibilities - Adhere to Abbvie’s Code of Business Conduct - Understands and follows all GMP and Safety regulations - Work with Sr Level Technicians across several areas of Maintenance to build a diverse, multi-craft foundation for their career in the Skilled Trades with the intent of building skills and developing into a higher-level Technician. - Perform Preventive and Demand Maintenance activities, support Predictive Maintenance activities. Vocational training to increase skill set and knowledge across multiple maintenance functions. ### Qualifications Knowledge and ability to use basic power tools and ability to apply proper hand and measuring tools in an industrial setting. HS diploma with relevant experience or Relevant Certificate. Completion or current enrollment in a formal technical school program related to Industrial Maintenance desired. ### Basic to intermediate Mechanical/Electrical Aptitude knowledge of production equipment, machinery, and hand tools Equipment Calibration: Ability to adjust and calibrate machinery using precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers (Preferred) ### Equipment Operation & Troubleshooting Proficiency in operating industrial equipment and diagnosing technical issues (Preferred) Competency reading engineering documentation and potentially using production software Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows) Must have the ability to become aseptic gown certified Mechanical and electrical experience highly preferred Industrial machine repair and maintenance experience highly preferred We encourage trade school students to apply. ### Example Texas State Technical College (TSTC), Central Texas College (CTC), and more.
