The Opportunity As the Senior Trade Marketing Manager, we are seeking a highly motivated and result-driven Senior Trade Marketing Manager responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies to drive sales, market share & channel development. This role involves close collaboration with the brand and sales team to optimize sales, market share, trade plans & promotion efficiency, channel development and retailer partnership. The role requires strong analytical skills to identify growth opportunities as well as driving customer and consumer experiences across multiple channels and touchpoints. ### What You’ll Do Strategic Planning & Execution Trade Marketing Strategy: Develop trade marketing strategies and drive trade execution excellence to achieve targeted sales, market share and commercial objectives. ### Category & Channel Development Lead category-channel strategy to drive growth & profitability. ### Promotion & Pricing Drive effective promotion and pricing strategies. ### Display & POSM Maximize visibility by driving brand awareness through effective distribution, merchandising & displays. Ensure execution as per brand guidelines. ### Market Analysis & Insights Competitor Analysis Monitor competitor activities and strategies to derive action-based insights. ### Market Share Analysis Analyze brand-channel performance to identify growth opportunities. ### Shopper Insights Analyze shopper preferences and behaviors to refine trade strategies. ### Collaboration & Communication Internal Team Work closely with brand, sales team and multiple commercial functions to align trade marketing strategies and plans. ### External Team Build strong relationship and business plans with customers to ensure alignment and deliverables. ### Performance Monitoring and Reporting KPI Tracking Monitor & review trade marketing activities and performance metrics monthly. ### Campaign & Performance Review Lead post campaign reviews to refine strategies & improve future performance. ### Budget Management Budget & Promotion Spend Manage, monitor & track full year trade marketing budget to ensure on track monthly. ### ROI Review Optimize budget efficiency & productivity through monthly review. Position Accountability/Scope Devise brand-channel strategies and build strategic channel growth plans. Drive effective promotion & pricing strategies. Drive & execute trade plans with excellence. Maximize visibility at trade with effective distribution, displays & POS. Build strong partnership and business plans with customers to deliver commercial targets. Lead channel performance reviews to derive action-based insights and identify growth opportunities. Manage trade marketing budget and drive efficiency. ### Requirements Degree holder in related field. Minimum 5 years of work experience. Relevant work experience/industry is an advantage. ### Skills Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and derive actionable insights. Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Excellent presentation, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Personal Attributes Proactive, self-motivated and driven with a passion for driving commercial growth. Strong analytical mindset with a result-oriented approach. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadline in a dynamic environment. High attention to details and organizational skills. ### Location This position is based in Imazium Damansara, Malaysia.
