Here, you can apply your talent in bold ways that matter. ### Job Description Corporate Audit – Senior Corporate Auditor ### Position Overview 3M is seeking a highly skilled Senior Corporate Auditor to lead and execute moderate- to high‑risk audits across our APAC and global operations. This role provides broad exposure to 3M’s businesses, processes, and functions while offering opportunities to partner closely with leadership teams. The Senior Corporate Auditor will play a key role in delivering high‑quality audit work, strengthening internal controls, and supporting the execution of Corporate Audit’s global vision and strategies. This position requires strong audit project management capabilities to ensure audits are executed, documented, and reported in a timely and high-quality manner. This position offers a dynamic, team‑focused environment with significant opportunities for professional development and international experience. ### Responsibilities - Lead and collaborate with audit teams to conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits in a fast‑paced, learning‑focused environment. - Manage audit projects through fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. - Monitor audit fieldwork progress, track milestones and deliverables, and proactively identify and escalate project risks or delays. - Coordinate with stakeholders to support effective audit execution and timely issue resolution. - Assess the design and effectiveness of internal controls and evaluate compliance with applicable 3M policies and procedures, laws, and regulations. - Identify audit issues, analyze root causes, and provide practical recommendations to improve processes and controls. - Prepare clear, concise, and well-structured audit reports that accurately communicate audit objectives, scope, findings, criteria, risk implications, root causes, and agreed management action plans. - Present audit findings and report results to business and functional leaders in a professional and impactful manner. - Ensure that management action plans are well-defined, sustainable, and implemented within agreed timelines. - Produce complete and well‑documented work papers supporting audit conclusions. - Review team members’ audit work papers to ensure completeness, accuracy, logical support for audit conclusions, and compliance with Corporate Audit methodology and quality standards. - Participate in global and regional initiatives to enhance Corporate Audit methodologies and processes. ### Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university. - Minimum of five years of audit experience, preferably in manufacturing and with Big Four experience. - Strong knowledge of operational processes, internal controls and auditing practices. - Demonstrated experience managing audit engagements or projects, including execution, reporting, stakeholder coordination, and timely delivery of audit milestones. - Strong audit report writing skills, with the ability to clearly articulate findings, risks, root causes, and practical recommendations for senior management audiences. - Ability to understand and apply the company’s systems, policies and procedures. - Confident communicator with experience in presenting to senior management. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. - Fluency in Mandarin is required; proficiency in another Asian language, such as Japanese or Korean, is a plus. - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% across China, APAC and global locations. - Experience with SAP ERP is an advantage. - Professional qualifications such as CPA or CIA are required.
